The decorative finishes she offers her clientele can range from a simple french color wash to very complex multi-layered surfaces. Her professional team is skilled in plastering and texturizing, creating finishes such as venetian plasters, marmarino, and more. The processes involved are overseen and

PRICING AND CONTRACTING


Faux Finishes
Decorative wall finishes are priced using a square-footage basis for a formula which combines material costs, board samples, customizing colors and textural applications.
 
Stenciling
Custom stencils are custom created for the client and are priced according to the intricacy of the design. The cost includes sketching time, cutting, registrations and applications of color.

Murals
& Trompe L'oeil


Murals and trompe l'oeil work is priced based upon originating the design + time estimated to draw and paint design +wall preparation+materials used+completion of varnishing. Generally, a trompe l'oeil is more expensive to create as it incorporates architectural elements using perspective drawing.

Travel

Peri Pfenninger is located in Napa Valley but travels to New York, and the Bay Area of California for commissioned murals. She is available to travel anywhere in the world for a mural that is of creative interest to her.

 How to Commission a Wall Painting: The Process

Peri first meets with the client for an initial consultation. After gaining information about the project, she will design 2 or 3 concepts using either watercolor renderings, or painted boards. Her presentation includes color & design options so the client can have a visual idea of how the design will live in the chosen interior space. She often uses history and futuristic ideas to compose something truely unique. Originating designs can take a minimum of 7 hours to many more involved hours. There is a design deposit fee which can vary in cost (according to the size of the project) that is paid prior to design work and is credited to the client when the job commences.
